    Custom Miata that is....

this is what I have so far:
    miata1

    ZZ4 crate motor (new)
    Aluminum Heads
    Pete Jackson Cam Gear Drive
    700R Overdrive Transmision
    4:10 Rear Gear Ratio
    SCCA Approved Roll Bar
    Brembo FT Brakes
Zender Custom Mag Wheels with new tires

    miata2

    miata3

    miata4

    miata5

I have information that it was professionally built and featured on one of the TNN car shows, but I can't find the episode or the builder's name.

    Any ideas?

The stock ZZ4 crate engine is supposed to put aprox 450 horse.

Oooop... I think I just found something. Looks like the original owner is a retired Mazda and Pontiac dealer (Peter Weidner) from Marco Island Florida. Had a dealership in Naples... I'm betting THEY did the conversion for their owner (not quite a race shop, but I suppose that would still qualify as a "professional" mod)

Looks like to me it has a high flow air filter element and a custom hood on it.. though I can't be too sure.

Actually, I think the hood is stock except where the cutouts were made for the functional vents and hood scoop.
